 Present Perfect forms

 The Present Perfect is formed with  have. These are used frequently with the Present Perfect.

affirmative
long form short form
I, we, you, they: I, we, you, they:
I have read. I've read.
he, she, it: he, she, it:
he has read. he's read.

negative (have not)
long form short form
I, we, you, they: I, we, you, they:
I have not read. I haven't read.
or

I've not read.
